Tantra offers concrete methods for couples to live more fully and explore the potential of the amorous relationship.  Certain techniques coming from tantra can nourish intimacy and sexuality by bringing more awareness to both and hence increasing satisfaction.

This workshop is for couples regardless of their sexual orientation, or level of tantra experience.  During this day each couple will work exclusively in its pair.

We will suggest practices that aim to:

• Free you of frustrations left over from past relationships
• Boost your creativity and desire
• Bring novelty and freshness into your relationship
• Leave behind societal pressures to perform
• Grow the experience of sexuality beyond the genitals
• Help you explore the art of living in couple, your capacity to be emotionally touched and to live fully in the present moment, to communicate better and be more implicated, intimate and vulnerable.

These practices are mostly experiential and are organised around breath work, movement, role-playing and developing sensual potential by slowing down, surrendering, connecting with your partner in confidence, developing an intimate relationship with yourself and your partner.

As a couple, Jacques et Deva catalyse their understanding and experiences to help participants make positive changes in their relationships.

These practices are held in a safe container so that each participant can advance at his or her pace, without violence or trauma. Participants will be nudged to go beyond their comfort zones while respecting physical and psychic limits.  There is no genital sexuality in this workshop.

A day among women to celebrate sisterhood, nourish the feminine and explore the powerful, wild women we are at heart. Every woman holds the key to a freer life, liberated from patriarchal diktats, beliefs and fears; at heart, she is in possession of her desire. We will work at loving our bodies just as they are, cultivate our sensuality, awaken our senses and our creative, ecstatic potential while learning to appease our relationships. 

The container:

Deva and Cécile are committed to ensuring a container that is structured, reliable, confidential and yet flexible where women feel heard, welcomed and cared for.

Objectives:

• To lighten the weight of inherited images and past sufferings.  To meet the woman you are here and now, become aware of unconscious patterns and patriarchal diktats. To detach yourself from limiting roles and unconscious identifications.
• To transform your experiences into treasures, to cultivate self-love.
• To open the heart space and welcome your wounds, transforming them into joy.
• To feel good in your body, to stand tall with both your scars and blessings, to be strong yet gentle.
• To reconsider the representations you have of your body.  Discover and love your vulnerability and reconcile with your body.
• To discover the ressources of your feminine nature.
• To meet and get to know the masculine inside you; appease your relationship with your partner (be he/she a man or woman), to create an alliance between the masculine and feminine in yourself in order to be less dependent on the outside world and on your relationships.
• To share your knowledge of “being a woman”, to gain depth, meaning, well-being and vital energy.  To develop the awareness and energy of the wise woman.
• To cultivate a fulfilling, creative and nourishing sexual and sensual life that irrigates the heart’s energy.
• To examine the construction of your erotic body, traverse its sufferings in order to arrive at more pleasure, desire and love for yourself and others.
• To feel the pride and pleasure of being an accomplished woman.

The Means:

This workshop will focus on sisterhood and seeks to help women tune in to what is trying to emerge in their lives and discern what they need to let go of.  Depending on the group’s energy, a number of activities will be proposed: sacred circles for speaking, dancing, active meditations, psycho-corporel and therapeutic exercises, socratic questioning and relational exercises, art therapy, etc.

The energetic touch of meditative massage is a key method for expanding awareness and a concrete opportunity to practice tantra.  With a non-dualistic approach, we channel energy (Shakti) and awareness (Shiva) which interact and can lead to the experience of Spanda  (dynamic divine power that gives life and movement to all that exists.)  Sexual energy is then reintegrated into our vital, creative energy, a source of pleasure and fulfilment.

Meditative massage invites you to a place of silence that calms all mental activity so that the journey from fear to love, from ignorance to knowing can take place guided by the conscious touch of the practitioner which is always free of intention.  You are invited to a moment of surrender.

Meditative massage takes you to a place of intimacy with yourself that language is hard-pressed to render.  Your heart opens, each cell of your body vibrates in ecstasy.   An unlimited field of possibilities becomes manifest.  This massage aims to help you re-appropriate your body, put all the pieces back together, find your innocence and allow life and love to transform you in the present moment.  It’s a wonderful tool for knowing yourself and evolving.

Following an interview and with your consent, the entire body is massaged with respect and tenderness.  The objectives are to remove all shame from pleasure, heal wounds, separate orgasm from climax, accept desire and pleasure without a sexual outcome. This massage retains  its relevance even if certain parts of the body are not touched.

Let your inner “yes” resound until you become one big YES to life.

Life cannot be led with a no and those who try to live by the no simply pass by life.  We cannot build a wall with a no because it is empty.  No is a kind of darkness and darkness doesn’t have a true existence; it is uniquely the absence of light.  This is why you can’t do anything directly with obscurity. You can’t push it out of a room, you can’t shove it into your neighbour’s house, you can’t add more darkness into your home. Nothing can be done directly with obscurity because it does not exist. If you want to do something with obscurity, turn off the light, if you don’t want obscurity, turn on the light.  But whatever you do, you must do it with light.

In the same way, Yes is light, No is darkness.  If you really want to do something with your life, you must learn the path of Yes.  And Yes is tremendously beautiful, even saying Yes is so relaxing.  Let it become your way of life even.  Say Yes to trees and birds and people and you will be surprised: life becomes a blessing if you are here to tell it Yes.  Life becomes a grand adventure.

This workshop will include dance, individual exercises and interactions between participants to tone the “Yes” muscle and promote joy, surrender, and positiveness, as well as a time for speaking about and integrating experiences.

Society objectifies women.  It serves up unrealistic images of the female body that make women feel they fall short; many experience body shame or strive to look like the magazine models.  The mother-whore dichotomy still runs strong and women have a hard time owning their desires.  Their native power and creativity play small.  In the work force, women still aren’t treated as equals. 

This evening seeks to help women:

•     stop objectifying their bodies,
•     love their bodies as they are,
•     accept to have desire and pleasure
•     be aware of the stakes of the love relationship
•     build sisterhood
•     feel the sweetness of women caring for their sisters.

The objective of this workshop is for you to get to know yourself better and hence, to get to know those you interact with better, too.

You will be provided a safe container for the adventure of being vulnerable as you encounter yourself and others. This encounter is free of stakes and addresses the need for tenderness and human contact. To unlock the door to the heart, we need to welcome our emotions and create the kind of intimacy that allows all the dimensions of our being to open up.

The workshop will include dance, meditations, psycho-corporal and creativity exercises as well as a time for speaking about what you’ve experienced and getting into the movement of life.
